Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This policy explains what we store on your device when you visit this website, why we store it, and how you can change your mind at any time. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

1. The short version

We have built this site to be unusually light on tracking. We run no advertising cookies, no profiling, no cross-site tracking and no social media pixels, and we do not sell or share anything about your visit with advertisers.

What remains is small: the things needed to serve and secure the site, and two optional items that wait for your agreement, being our booking scheduler and a note of which campaign brought you here.

2. What the law requires

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (“PECR”) say that storing information on your device, or reading information already there, needs your consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. This covers cookies, and it also covers similar technologies such as browser storage.

We ask for that consent through a banner the first time you visit. Refusing is exactly as easy as agreeing, and refusing costs you nothing but the embedded scheduler, which we can happily replace with an email.

3. Strictly necessary: no consent needed

These are used whether or not you accept, because the site cannot be delivered safely without them.

4. Optional: only with your consent

None of the following is requested, loaded or written until you press Accept. If you refuse, or simply ignore the banner, they stay switched off.

5. Analytics

We do not currently run any analytics on this website. If we introduce analytics in future, we will use a cookieless, privacy-focused provider that does not set cookies, does not track you across sites and cannot identify you, and we will update this policy before doing so.

6. Changing your mind

You can change your decision at any time, in either direction, and it takes effect immediately.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them entirely. Most browsers explain how under Settings, Privacy. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.

7. Third parties named in this policy

Where a third party sets its own cookies, that company decides what it collects and for how long. Their own notices are the authority on that:

  • Cloudflare, hosting, content delivery and security
  • Calendly, appointment scheduling, loaded only with your consent

Our Privacy Policy lists the full set of processors we use, including those that never touch your device, such as our email providers.

8. Changes to this policy

If we add anything that stores information on your device, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again rather than relying on an answer you gave to a different question.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about anything we store, can go to hello@book-more.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
